Nutrology is a Great Fit for KIDS and Adults!

Eating healthy is just as important for children as it is adults. However, getting kids to eat healthy can be a real challenge, especially in light of all the advertising for sugary drinks and snacks. Today, parents find themselves struggling to find something that is healthy, fun, tasty and easy to make.

At Nutrology, we frequently receive questions from customers asking for ways to use our products in recipes that are appropriate for children. Below are a few of our favorite recipes, all of which have proven to be big hits with children of all ages.

Warning: While these recipes are created with kids in mind, adults love them too. Enjoy!


Energy Bites:

Kids are on the go and Spring sports are just around the corner. Here is a simple recipe for Energy Bites that are easy to make and convenient to take with you to practice and games.

1 cup of oats

¼ cup of honey

¼ tsp vanilla

¼ cup of nut butter (sunflower, cashew, peanut)

2 Tbsp Nutrology’s PC-10 Microfine Chia

Let your kids pick an additional ingredient to make these Energy Bites their own. Here are a few suggestions:


Chocolate Chips

Coconut Flakes


Dried Cranberries


  • Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix thoroughly
  • Roll into bite size balls and place on parchment paper
  • Refrigerate for 30 minutes
  • ENJOY!

Each energy bite not only provides essential Omega-3s and dietary fiber, but also gives you a healthy alternative to popular sugar filled energy bars.


Orange/Banana Julius:

Looking for a delicious post game/practice drink. Look no further than this simple to make recipe that is lower in sugar, and high in vitamin C and potassium.

Better than soda or any other sugar filled drink, this tasty treat is a great source of key nutrients for young, growing, and active bodies!



At last, a tasty way to satisfy a chocolate fix while at the same time providing your kids with a nutritious drink that provides essential nutrients and proteins for growing bodies.

Great taste and nutrition can really be this easy. The only thing to keep in mind is that you must be willing to share with your kids!
